Easter Sunday!

A-CROSS WYOMING is primarily a sowing event as Wyoming Southern Baptists place the gospel in each home in our state. However…

Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010 will be a         harvest Sunday!

  • Prayer walking teams have covered your community in prayer.
  • A state wide media campaign has saturated Wyoming with the good news through the Find It Here TV commercial spots, radio, newspaper ads and website.
  • Reaching Teams have hand delivered the gospel, including a special invitation to your church for Easter services, via the A-CROSS WYOMING door hanger bags.

Now is the time to welcome guests into your church, to experience the hope of Easter!

  • Include your guests in the celebration of Easter through praise and worship!
  • Preach the Good News of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus !
  • Draw them to an evangelistic conclusion, through an invitation to discover Jesus personally!

Things to think about…

  • Consider using parking lot greeters who are friendly and helpful, but not aggressive.
  • Have clear, attractive signage to show locations and identify rooms.
  • Make your guests feel valued.
  • Use guests' names to show personal interest.
  • Don't put your guests on the spot.
  • Do whatever it takes to make your guests feel comfortable.
  • Display brochures about your church that give people information they can take home and read at their convenience   .
  • Provide opportunity during the service to greet and connect with each guest.
  • Have an attractive, clean, well-maintained church facility.
  • Offer parents a clean, bright, cheerful and secure nursery.
  • Reserve your best parking locations for guests
  • Make introductions to the pastor, Sunday School teachers and other key leaders.
  • Follow up by building authentic relationships.
