Welcome to Centrifuge. We
are excited you have chosen to attend Centrifuge, and we look
forward to our week together. Expect God to impact the life
of every person you bring. As you pray for your students and
sponsors, know we share in your effort. We covet your prayers
and look forward to ministering with you.
Below
are some suggestions as you prepare for your week at Centrifuge:
Pray for yourself, the children
and sponsors who will attend camp.
Begin to identify the unique
needs of each child and adult.
Work with your group to determine
your objectives in choosing to attend Centrifuge. Periodically
remind the group of the objectives they establish.
Examine and communicate the
responsibilities of your adult sponsors.
Assign to each sponsor the names
of the 5 children for whom they should pray and with whom
they should seek to develop relationships as they prepare
to attend camp.
Help your children and sponsors
understand what to expect during their week at camp. Share
with them that the benefits they receive from camp will depend
greatly on how much they are willing to involve themselves
in it.
Conduct an informational meeting
with the parents of children who will be attending.
