Hi,
I am Quin Williams. This year I will be the director of Centrifuge
at Mountain Top Baptist Assembly.
Centrifuge
offers a quality Christian camp experience for all youth who
have completed grades 6-12. Centrifuge combines quality worship
with age-appropriate activities designed from start to finish
to reach young people with the message of Jesus Christ. In
all of these activities the campers and their sponsors will
be challenged to serve Christ in a meaningful way.
We
hope that you are able to bring many young people to Centrifuge
this year. If so please note the following important deadlines.
First
Deadline for registration: March 7 th –We will need
your initial number of campers and sponsors expected to attend.
Use the Estimated
Attendance Form or call me at 307-261-9896.
You will not be tied to these numbers, but they will help
us in our planning. As camp is usually full each year, try
to be as close to your actual numbers as you can so we
do not turn anyone away.
Second
Deadline: May 22 nd – Turn in $50.00 deposit per
camper and sponsor on the Deposit
Form provided. Please note these deposits
are non-refundable. They can be transferred to another camper
or sponsor for whom no deposit has been received, but there
can be no exceptions on refunds.
Third
Deadline: June 12 th –Turn in a copy of your Church
Summary Sheet with the names of campers
and sponsors so cabins and duties can be assigned before arrival
at camp.
Be
sure and bring the following completed forms with you for
registration: Registration
form for campers and sponsors
Worker
Addendum Registration
Checklist Group
Leader Info.
Please
note: This camp has exceeded the capacity of Mountain Top
Assembly in the past. While we will do everything in our power
to keep from turning people away, Wyoming Churches will be
given priority on the first 120 beds until March 7. After
that, all reservations will be given on a first come first
served basis, until the campground surpasses its capacity.
Another
issue of which you need to be aware is the importance of having
sponsors from your Church for your students. Obviously, it
is far better for your youth to be sponsored by adults that
they know. Sometimes our churches have difficulty finding
people who can come to Centrifuge for a week. If you find
yourself in that position, it is your responsibility
to network with other churches who are going and
may have room with their sponsors for your teens. We cannot
assign sponsors for anyone's youth.
Indeed
our Father has used Centrifuge to make eternal differences
in the lives of teenagers and their sponsors. Join us as we
pray everyday for Centrifuge 2008.
Monday
- Saturday June 30 - July 5, 2008 Cost: $170.00
See
You There,
