and Leisure Ministry
If
you think about ski resorts when you hear the phrase “resort
and leisure ministry” you would not be wrong but you would
be omitting many of the settings where this type of ministry
can occur. Other settings include: lakes and rivers, national
parks, state and county parks, campgrounds, marinas, festival
marketplaces, hotels, resorts and rodeos.
Tourism
is an important industry in Wyoming and provides many settings
for ministry and evangelism to occur. Methods of resort and
leisure ministry include, but are not limited to, day camps,
campground worship services, employee Bible studies, ski slope
worship services and scripture distribution.
