Discipleship
Discipleship
for the church is the "teaching them to obey everything I
have commanded you" ministry in fulfilling the Great Commission
of our Lord. Discipleship, for a church, must be an
intentional plan for ministry that results in changing the
lives of people as they learn to walk more closely to their
Lord Jesus Christ. More than a program, churches must
make this transformational discipleship a basic element of
church life, and develop a strategy for accomplishing this
ministry goal.
Church Health Strategist Marvin Owen is committed to providing
churches and church staff with relevant resources that help
them better reach the lost for Christ; grow believers into
spiritually mature, on-mission Christians; and, advance the
Kingdom of God.
