Church Planting & Evangelism is committed to providing churches and church staff with relevant resources that help them better reach the lost for Christ; grow believers into spiritually mature, on-mission Christians; and, advance the Kingdom of God. One method of carrying out this purpose is to assist ministry to college campuses in Wyoming as partners with local associations and churches. We assist in this ministry through shared funding for the work of local campus ministry directors and programs, in cooperation with the North American Mission Board, LifeWay Christian Resources, and other local ministries.

Central Wyoming College BCM
Director: Eric Reid

The need for family ministry in our churches and communities is almost overwhelming. It is quite obvious and has been for numerous years that the family is under attack. The church is being called on now more than ever to provide support and hold up the biblical perspective of the family as the standard of measurement. We are committed to resourcing Wyoming Southern Baptists in this area of ministry. Video and written resources are available through the WSBMN Resource Center’s media library for a short-term loan.
Contact Beth Williams at email@example.com for information about how to request a resource.
Additional resources are available through Lifeway Church Resources by logging onto www.lifeway.com.
Evangelism resources are available through the North American Mission Board at www.namb.net.
Mission opportunities are available for families through Volunteer Connection, a ministry of WMU SBC. Information about these possibilities is available at www.wmu.com.
Resort and Leisure Ministry
If you think about ski resorts when you hear the phrase “resort and leisure ministry” you would not be wrong but you would be omitting many of the settings where this type of ministry can occur. Other settings include: lakes and rivers, national parks, state and county parks, campgrounds, marinas, festival marketplaces, hotels, resorts and rodeos.
Tourism is an important industry in Wyoming and provides many settings for ministry and evangelism to occur. Methods of resort and leisure ministry include, but are not limited to, day camps, campground worship services, employee Bible studies, ski slope worship services and scripture distribution.
Additional information is available through the NAMB website at:http://www.namb.net/evangelism/specialministries/resort_leisure.
Single Adult Ministry
Do you have any single adults in your church? If you answered “no” to that question you should think again. Many times single adults are overlooked or forgotten in our churches whether they are never married or single again. Your church may be missing an often overlooked opportunity for ministry if they are not thinking about the single adults in their fellowship and community.
Contact Beth Williams at firstname.lastname@example.org to check out a resource. Additional resources are available through Lifeway Church Resources by logging onto www.lifeway.com .
Music and Worship
The WSBMN is committed to providing churches and church staff with relevant resources that help to better reach the lost for Christ; grow believers into spiritually mature, on-mission Christians; and, advance the Kingdom of God.
“Nothing is higher on God’s agenda for Himself and for His people than true worship. To God worship is so vital that to fail to experience genuine worship is fatal. Yet it is possible to go through life thinking we have worshiped without ever having done so.” ( Worship: Believer Experiencing God, by Henry Blackaby and Ron Owens)
Also, in an effort to assist churches in developing meaningful biblical worship experiences, we maintain a selection of worship resources in our Media Library. This includes books on worship, as well as materials for musical worship. For information on resources available please contact Beth Williams at email@example.com.
Sunday School is the foundational strategy in a local church for leading people to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and for building on-mission Christians through open Bible study groups that engage people in evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, and worship.
The WSBC is committed to providing churches and church staff with relevant resources that help them better reach the lost for Christ; grow believers into spiritually mature, on-mission Christians; and, advance the Kingdom of God.
The WSBC Sunday School also maintains a Sunday School training team that is prepared to conduct consultations and clinics. To inquire about a possible consultation at your local Wyoming church, or for more information on any of these events of services, please contact Fred Creason at firstname.lastname@example.org or Beth Williams at email@example.com.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is one of the best outreach programs a church can use to touch the lives of people and families in their community. Each year many, if not most, of the decisions for Christ and baptisms in local churches are the result of VBS.
WSBC is committed to providing churches and church staff with relevant resources that help them better reach the lost for Christ; grow believers into spiritually mature, on-mission Christians; and, advance the Kingdom of God .
We have a state VBS Team that is available for phone consultations to churches concerning this ministry. We also maintain Vacation Bible School Resources in our Media Library for church examination and limited use. For help with VBS contact Fred Creason at firstname.lastname@example.org or Beth Williams at email@example.com.
