Mountain Top is the Southern Baptists' camp located on Casper Mountain. They purchased 25 acres on top of Casper Mountain (an elevation of 8,100 ft) in 1961. It now totals 60 acres filled with mountain wildlife and beautiful scenery, hosting up to 200 campers per week during its 3 months of operation each year. Campers and sponsors alike draw closer to our Lord through worship and fellowship.
Each summer, MTBA host 2 weeks of Summit Youth Camps, a Kid's Camp, a Hispanic Family Camp, and several weeks of Good News Camps. In addition to these, the camp houses several retreats and conferences for adults and college student.
Lynda Roark, a church planter's wife and mother of 5, became the camp's Executive Director in 2015 when Beth Williams retired. Lynda tirelessly devotes her summer's energy to running the camp with volunteers to help keep registration fees low for our Wyoming campers. MTBA is supported by the WSB churches, their regions, and the Mission Network. Gifts from mission teams and individuals are added blessings.
