New Mt. Top Assembly Executive Director
Mountain Top Baptist Assembly Has New Director
Lynda Roark has been employed as the new Executive Director of Mountain Top Baptist Assembly. On January 30, 2015 in a special meeting of the Camp Board of Trustees, the invitation was extended to Lynda. Convinced that it was the will of God to accept this invitation, she accepted the offer and became the Executive Director of our state encampment. She has replaced Beth Williams who served in this capacity since 2005.
The Board of Directors is excited about this new hire. Lynda has an extensive background in management. Her husband, Marty, is the pastor/church planter of Circle G Cowboy Church in Glendo. So Lynda is well versed in Wyoming Southern Baptist ministries and what it means to lead a local Wyoming church. She is also currently employed by the Platte County School District as a para educator.
All this being said, Lynda’s greatest qualification for this position, is her high-energy, unwavering commitment to the expression and expansion of the Gospel of Christ. She sees her service in our camp as an extraordinary opportunity to share the saving power of Jesus Christ to hundreds of campers and volunteers each year.
Please remember to pray for Lynda as she embraces this new but vital leadership role among Wyoming Southern Baptists.
